Co-op cooking

I had a blast. Everyone did I think. We made a lot of food and I came home with about ten casseroles and other  meals in my freezer.

I thought i would share a few photos from tonight.

The lady in RED is my neighbor and pastors Wife. She use to be my boss when i worked at her school as a detention teacher :)

I think DEE and Miss Fay was expecting rain in the church kitchen lol.

We had a really wonderful time. We cooked all the food then bought our casseroles for a little over 8 bucks each. I came home wit then dishes and am happy to say my freezer is full of yummy dishes to serve my family. We will be doing this again in a month:)

With that being said here is yet another post about Makayla lol.

 

She is fine. I don’t think she had strep. If she did she bounced back like no other I have seen. She is perfectly fine. She has been playing Wii all day. WE even went and got her hair cut.

She wanted Bangs and with her cowlicks she has I tried to talk her out of it but hey it looks great I was wrongggggg MOMMMMM!!!! lol It makes her look older if you ask me….

Makayla is sick

Oh the joys of parenthood. My lil girl is not feeling well. I took her to the Dr and they diagnosed her as having Strep throat.

here she is at the concert we went to last week. Aint she precious?

She weighs 81 pounds and is in the 6th grade. She is my tiny girl. I don't think she is ever going to hit puberty. lol

BIOLOGY 100 with a lab

OMG!!!!! I will be glad when this class is over. It is kicking my butt. Someone please tell me it gets easier? I have done 4 weeks of work and  have 5 more to accomplish. Who really cares about how a fly reproduces ? Seriously is it that important ? lol.

     I am taking Ethics 125 with this biology and thank the good Lord its not hard or I would be crying.  I  am going to bed. I have kindergarteners tomorrow. lol. I think kindergarteners are worse than BIOLOGY!!!!

Jacob turned ten today. We had him a “who dat” birthday party at church. There was cake and Root beer float punch

I want to thank my sister and sister in-law for helping serve all the kids with me. I have TWO great sister :)

 

There was also the cutest baby ever there. I love me some ASHER… OH and he is going to be a big brother :) I think his momma just needs to let me raise this one for her ;) lol just kidding Regina :)

REVOLVE TOUR

Me and a friend took 6 girls to the revolve tour in Garland Texas this weekend. Garland is a suburb basically of Dallas. I drove my Van with three girls and Jamie drove her vehicle with three girls.

I have never had to drive through Dallas. OMG I think I prayed through while driving through Downtown Dallas to get the to GALLARIA Mall. The girls went Ice skating.

Makayla  who is my daughter in this next picture has never ice skated before. She looked like a pro lol.

Then we made it back to our room and got ready for an amazing night of praise and worship.

 

We had a blast.

Nicole Britt, Group one Crew, hawk nelson,and many other well known groups performed.

We went back to the hotel for the night and met up with a few friends from our own local area… Then got up the next morning for a day of more PRaising and worshiping.

We had a wonderful time. Everyone was very well behaved and God really blessed us and kept us safe in our travels.

Im still alive

Just a quick note to let everyone know I am still alive and well. I will be posting a blog  later tonight or tomorrow. Today my baby boy turns ten :) Happy birthday Jacob. May you grow in favor and grace with God :)

Top ten list of benefits to having the FLU

This is a sarcastic post. I hate having the FLU lol. Just tryingto pass time while sick.

10. Don’t have to cook or clean

9. can watch reruns of the BRADY BUNCH and not feel guilty

8. Don’t have to get dressed

7. Having your hair in a pony tail all day is a must

6. Don’t have to work

5. Mom will take the kids

4. The dog will keep you company

3. Laundry can pile up and it really doesn’t bother you.

2. I can sleep all day

1. I lost 7 pounds

YESSSS i know that loosing this much weight is not healthy in a a few days but I hadn’t weighed in a week and I am dieting. Total Gone is 38 pounds :)

I have the FLU

:( I am feeling like poo. Fever aches cough… You name it i got it… My ribs are so sore from coughing and my bladder is screaming every time I cough rofl. I went to the dr today even though we do not have insurance. the dr office was kind enough to do a minimal visit with me. I got a shot and some scripts and it was only 65 bucks. Thank you Winnsboro Medical Clinic for helping me.

    I don't even miss face book at all. It is strengthening me by just staying away from it. Wayne went back to wok this morning. I really miss him. I need him here to take care of me. The kids re coping well with my illness. Mom took them for the afternoon. They are back home now bathing and getting ready for bed. My prayer is that they don't get this.

    Good night I am going to bed.

New Classes and day 2 of 21

Today ended up being a “SNOW DAY” for the kids… NO school. However, there was no snow to be found. We didn’t mind the break though. It was nice. Wayne even stayed home due to the weather. Now he has to stay home because he has Jury duty tomorrow. Hopefully they won’t need him and he can be excused and go to work. 

     I started two new classes today. I am in BIO/100 with a Lab and Eth/125. So far so good. I have done all my work for this week. I wrote 2 papers and took 2 test. Also a 200 word checkpoint. Not to bad if I say so my self.  I checked my old classes and my instructor already posted my grades. I made a 97.5 in my History class. I am waiting on my AED class. But I am sure it will be an A also. I still have my A average.. YAY me.

    I haven’t missed face book at all. I have been too busy and will stay this way until I get all assignments done. This usually takes me 5 weeks even though we are given 9 to complete all assignments. I just like being ahead and getting it over with. This is just my personality. lol.

     My ethics teacher seems almost NAZIish with her rules and regulations but I can handle it. I will pray for her I know that will help.

     I am on chapter 15 of Proverbs. I will read my next 7 chapters Saturday. So far this has been a good book to read. My personal fast…..Which is in no way like the DANIELS fast I must admit is going well. I had to modify it my fast some what and focus more on the worldly things I let enter my life. Mind you I am doing a food fast..Just altering it a little. Don’t worry I am under GRACE ;)

     I did alot today in the house on top of all my assignments. The kids and I cleaned out all three of their dressers and closets. I bagged up about 7 bags of clothes to give away. Some are going to my sister, some to my sisterinlaw and some to fresh start. It felt good to get rid of the clutter. I guess this month is not only a spiritual decluttering as brother Dave put it but also a physical decluttering. 

     After cleaning the closet and dressers out the boys decided to bunk together again so that means Makayla finally got her room back. Thomas and Jacob are sharing a room and Makayla is all by herself with the exception of SKIPPY sleeping with her ohh and her many stuffed animals and Her LAVA LAMP lol.

     I am thankful for my family. Thankful for food on my table cloths on our bodies and most of all GOD….

Day one of 21

     But who is counting? lol. Today was my first day of my face book Fast. Many of you who read this blog know that I  love face book. Giving it up for 3 weeks is a big deal for me. A true sacrifice. But if you see this blog post on face book don't think I have been on face book, I haven't. It post to my face book itself.

    Any who on to bigger and better things. The kids have a snow day tomorrow and we dont even have snow on the ground rofl. I am not complaining. We get to sleep in. I also start two new classes tomorrow, on line. I am taking biology 100 with a lab and eth/125. This Biology class looks tough….

     Wayne got to come home last night. He thought he was going to have to work today but the Lord saw fit for him to get to come home and spend some time with us. He is now stuck at home and wont be able to go to work tomorrow due to the bad weather. So we are staying up late and sleeping in tomorrow lol.

conversations with Skippy

Ok so I sit on my couch a lot. Skippy like to hold me down. Usually if I am on the couch he is either on top of me or above me on the back of the couch looking down at me.

Skippy is a great little dog. He loves to talk to me and listen to me. He cries when I tell him sad things.

He laughs when i tell him funny things.

He walks away when i get boring.

This dog has let me pour my heart out to him and he has yet to tel la single soul any of it. He is a gooood listener.

He has magical powers too. Once my sister had a toe that hurt really bad… Skippy licked it and the next day it was healed and hasn’t bothered her since. rofl..

Here he is in the corner of the picture giving a glowing white  eye. I think he was using his powers to tell me to leave him alone.

I often wonder what he does when we aren’t here.

I think he has parties.

WILD PARTIES

Look at his eyes…He has been doing badd things.. I can just tell. i think he needs a drug test.

My dog keeps me entertained when wayne is gone.

BTW i have 3 human kids to lol;)
